3. Real estate building and reconstruction of business space |
Introduction:
Results of the research showed that:
93,3% of respondent's firms are using offices for everyday
business activities
6,7% of respondents do not have offices at all
Approximately 75% of respondents do own their own manufacturing,
selling or office space
13,9% of the firms had to engage in some extra activity
(besides the official procedure) to get some business space
(5,7% - lobbying, 5,9% - personal relationships).
These firms had the following costs because of the previous
activities:
Official fees - of approximately 50 € have been
paid by most of the firms. Only 8,4% of the firms have
identified this cost as a single cost. The rest have categorized
it within "one amount for the entire process" (using
the services of an agent, without being able to request an itemized
account of services).
Bribe cost - has been present within 3,4% of the
respondents. Average amount was 150 €.
Cost of required insurance - has been present only within
1,7% of the respondents. Average: 500€.
Average cost - of the previous three categories has been
1,778 € and it was present in 10,3% of the cases.
Before using the real estate nearly half of the firms didn't
take any extra measures to improve the space, while 52%
of respondents did build, reconstruct or change the purpose
of the real estate that they use.
