Serbia president requesting from Parliament to vote again about just passed Law on Labor
As 'Blic' finds out Serbia President Boris Tadic shall request new voting over the Law on Labor that was passed in Serbia Parliament last week. Namely, the President is of the opinion that the text of the Law that he got from Parliament services 'does not correspond to that passed by deputies in Serbia Parliament'. In other words there is suspicion that the text has been forged.
As we were told President Tadic got the text as late as on Saturday morning. He read in while on flight to China. When service of the President suspected that the text is not identical to that passed by the Parliament, they contacted on Monday Slobodan Lalovic, Minister for Labour. Lalovic confirmed in writing that the text was the same passed by the deputies.
However, cabinet of Serbia Parliament Speaker Predrag Markovic claims that from February 19 to February 23, services of Serbia President ignored request by Parliament Secretary that the text of the law is returned so as to check whether the passed amendments have been included in the text. However, President's cabinet claims that nobody from Serbia Parliament has contacted them.
