BELGRADE, Dec 16, 2003 - Foreign trade deficit of Serbia in this year is estimated to 4.5 billion Dollars. The reason for serious concern is that the trend of rising of the deficit is being continued.
According to officials form the Chamber of Economy of Serbia the deficit will be for 80 percents higher that the export realized at the same time.
'Our State is unable to bear such pressure', Milorad Petrovic, executive director for foreign economic cooperation of the Serbian Chamber of Economy said.
Serbia has positive goods exchange balance with Macedonia and Bosnia and Herzegovina only.
