The MACVA District expands in the western parts of Serbia.
It encompasses the municipalities of:

• Loznica

• Ljubovija

• Mali Zvornik

• Sabac

• Vladimirci

It has a population of 339,644. Its seat is in the city of Sabac.

Not far away from Loznica stands the village of Trsic, the birth place of the Reformer of Serb language and orthography, Vuk Karadzic.

Economy of this region hold the big plants of chemical industry, food industry, furniture industry and metal and plastics industry.
