Union says strike affecting over 80 institutions
15:20 BELGRADE, Oct 2 (Beta) - Over 80 health institutions are on strike, according to the Serbian Union of Doctors and Pharmacists. The strike began this morning after negotiations failed to yield a new pay deal.
The action has affected the Zvezdara Clinic and Dragisa Misovic hospital and several Belgrade health centres. Novi Sad in the north remains largely unaffected.
