Feasibility Study possible by early next year
11:16 BRUSSELS, Sept 30 (SRNA) - Chris Patten, the European Union’s foreign affairs commissioner, has said that a study into the feasibility of Serbia-Montenegro’s accession to the EU could be completed by the end of March 2004.
Patten said that the assessment would depend on a number of political and economic factors. The most important in the economic field, he added, was the implementation of an adequate action plan to create a joint, harmonized market between the two republics.
