It is best for Montenegro to return dinar, Kovac
11:16 PODGORICA, Sept 29 (Tanjug) - Economic expert of the Group for Changes Bozo Kovac said on Sunday that returning the dinar as the
Montenegrin official currency would be "a normal and rational solution."
"We have to accept the monetary and customs union with Serbia. If we returned the dinar, we could change euros, and dinar would function, and perform its function," Kovac told the daily Publika. He pointed out that dinar "does well" and that there was to be no fear of inflation. He also said that the fact that the Montenegrin monetary system had once chosen the DM, and then euro in
favor of dinar, was "an illogical move, which cannot be sustainable and stable in the long run."
