Privatization deal sparks worker revolt
14:17 KRAGUJEVAC, Sept 29 (SRNA) - Several dozen workers at PKB Transport in Kragujevac have seized control of the company’s headquarters and are refusing to allow the owner, Dragoljub Milanovic, to enter.
The workers are demanding the company’s privatization deal be scrapped and that they are paid their wages. They have called on Serbian Deputy Prime Minister Cedomir Jovanovic and
Privatization Minister Aleksandar Vlahovic to respond. Milovanovic is accused of forging the company’s auction documents.
