NBS governor says Serbia's September inflation rate .64 percent
19:14 BELGRADE, Sept 29 (Tanjug) - National Bank of Serbia (NBS) Governor Kori Udovicki said on Monday that the growth of retail prices in Serbia had been
stabilized within the planned inflation rate of nine percent by the end of the year and that the monthly inflation rate by the end of September was to be just .64 percent.
In comparison with October 2002, inflation was 10.4 percent, Udovicki told a news conference. Responding to reporters' questions, she ruled out the possibility of using part of hard currency reserves, which had reached 3.3 billion dollars, for financing Serbia's budget.
