Industrial production in Serbia-Montenegro in August falls 5 pct
16:20 BELGRADE, Sept 24 (Tanjug) - Industrial production in Serbia and Montenegro in August this year, compared to July, is 1.3 pct lower, and compared to August last year, it declined by 5 pct, while compared to August 1991 it declined by as much as 53.9 pct, journalists were told at the Institute for Statistics of Serbia and Montenegro.
Assistant director of the Institute, Dragi Stoiljkovic, specified that
industrial production in August this year, compared to the average monthly production of the previous year, registered a fall of 8.7 pct.
