G17 Plus Youth joins campaign
19:57 BELGRADE, Sept 24 (Beta) - The youth arm of the G17 Plus political party has joined efforts to discredit the process by which Serbia’s new national bank governor was appointed.
The party recently accused the Serbian parliament of forging attendance records in order to secure quorum for the vote to appoint Kori Udovicki. One MP voted despite apparently being abroad. Today, the party’s youth network began handing out voting slips addressed to Parliament Speaker Natasa Micic. The slips carried pictures of various tourist destinations such as Greece, Turkey and the Seychelles, and
authorized a “long-distance vote”.
