Udovicki decisions “will stand” despite voting scam
16:30 BELGRADE, Sept 21, 2003 (Beta) - Serbian National Bank governor Kori Udovicki said today that all decisions made by her and the Bank’s Council would stand, regardless of questions hanging over the legitimacy of the parliamentary procedures which appointed them.
Udovicki told media that in the event that the parliament repeated the procedure for her appointment, the decisions she had made in the position must remain in force. “I want to say that the governor and members of the Bank Council have legally and legitimately carried out all their functions from the moment of their appointment,” said the disputed governor.
