First commercial flight from Belgrade to New York
13:52 BELGRADE, Sept 18 (Tanjug) - The first direct intercontinental commercial flight for New York took place in Thursday when from Belgrade airport took off a Boeing 767 of the Uzbekistan airline which, along with JAT Airways, will maintain regular flights between Belgrade and New York two times a week.
The passengers were seen off by Serbian Minister of Transport and Telecommunications Marija Raseta-Vukosavljevic and by the US Ambassador in
Belgrade William Montgomery.
