With assistance of European Agency for Reconstruction - 1,600 new jobs
14:33 BELGRADE, Sept 16, 2003 (Tanjug) - The European Union along with the Government of Serbia is working on a series of projects for the creation of new jobs, said Adriano Martins of the European Agency for Reconstruction, at a seminar devoted to problems of employment in the Sumadija district, at the Belgrade Palace hotel.
The EU, with numerous credit lines and a 700-million-euro fund, wants to help the Government of Serbia in the period of transition and within a special programme of aid to small and medium size firms is planned the creation of 1,600 jobs, Martins said.
