Gateway of Serbia project worth 500 to 600 million dollars
18:39 BELGRADE, Sept 16 (Tanjug) - The construction of the first of seven stages of the Gateway of Serbia project has started at Belgrade Airport and the total investment in this project would be between 500 and 600 million euros, Serbian Minister of Transport and Telecommunications Marija Raseta-Vukosavljevic said on Tuesday.
She said that after the completion of two phases of the project in May 2004 Belgrade Airport would become a logistic air transport centre in South-East Europe and will be a challenge to foreign investors as the most profitable operation in the country.
