Industrial production down 5.7 pct
15:32 BELGRADE, Sept 15 (Tanjug) - Industrial production in Serbia declined in August by 5.7 pct compared to the same month last year, and the largest drop of 34 pct was registered in the production of means of production, while the production of input material decreased 3.7 pct and of consumer goods 4.6 pct, the Serbian Statistics
Institute said on Monday.
A production drop was registered in 22 industrial branches, which make up 78 pct of the total industrial production. The largest drop was registered in the production of radio, television and communications equipment, of clothing, furs, textile yarn and fabrics.
