Presidential elections waste of time
Sept 11 (Blic) - Acting President of Serbia Natasa Micic is to carry out consultations with all relevant political factors in the country. After that, it will be known if she will call presidential elections or not. Consultations are in the course and are expected to be finished until the end of the week.
'Those wanting to prolong the crisis in the country now want presidential elections. We need parliamentary, early elections to come out of the crisis', G17 Plus vice president Predrag Markovic said for 'Blic'. DSS president Vojislav Kostunica has already said that presidential elections would not solve the crisis in Serbia and that election of the president would change nothing in the work of the Parliament.
