Domestic economy still in process of market development, NBS vice-governor
11:07 BELGRADE, Sept 10 (Tanjug) - The domestic economy, unlike that of the countries which have been in transition for 12 or 13 years now, is still in the process of market development - financial, money market, foreign exchange market, stocks and bonds market and market of financial derivatives, National Bank of Serbia (NBS) vice-governor Vesna Arsic said on Tuesday.
Reminding of the fact that the new Law on NBS determines the banks aim -
achievement and maintenance of stability of prices, Arsic told a press conference at the Serbian Economist Council that that was why the NBS had to be interested in the issues of competitiveness.
