No early elections, but Democrats prepare campaign
20:07 BELGRADE, Sep 7 (B92) - Democratic Party vice president Zoran Zivkovic told the party’s Central Committee yesterday that there was no attempt to call early elections.
Although the party’s presidency had ordered the establishment of campaign headquarters, this was merely “a technical measure”, said Zivkovic.
Zivkovic, who is also prime minister of Serbia, today urged all political parties to cooperate in bringing electoral rolls up to date with a year to go before the poll so that a precise roll will be ready well ahead of the elections.
