Some 40 million euros to be earmarked from sale of DIV and DIN for irrigation
18:10 ZRENJANIN, Sept 5 (Tanjug) - Serbian Premier Zoran Zivkovic
said in Zrenjanin on Friday that about 40 million euros would be
earmarked from the privatization of the Tobacco Industry of Nis
(DIN) and the Tobacco Industry of Vranje (DIV) and used to build an
irrigation system.
During a visit to the Zlatica farm near Zrenjanin, which suffered
100 percent damage from this summer's drought and recent severe
storm, Zivkovic set out that the priorities and where the funds for
the irrigation system would be invested would be determined over the
next few months.
