Serbia-Montenegro regional leader in foreign investments, O'Donnell
15:50 BELGRADE, Sept 4 (Tanjug) - The United Nations believes that the state union of Serbia and Montenegro is very successfully conducting all reforms and increasingly attracting direct foreign investments, thus becoming the leading state in Southeast Europe in this respect, standing UN coordinator to Serbia-Montenegro Francis
O'Donnell said Thursday.
In 2002, direct foreign investments in Serbia-Montenegro amounted to about 300 million dollars, while it is believed that in 2003 they will exceed one billion dollars,
O'Donnell set out presenting the World Investment Report 2003 published by UNCTAD on national policy issues linked to attracting
