G17 Plus demands to see MP’s passport
20:24 BELGRADE, Sept 4 (Beta) - G17 Plus has demanded that Democratic Party MP Neda Arneric present her passport in public, showing all entry and exit stamps which will confirm when and during what period she has been out of the country.
The party yesterday alleged that Arneric was registered as having voted in the parliament for the appointment of Kori Udovicki as National Bank governor when in fact she was on holiday in Turkey.
G17 Plus representative Ksenija Milivojevic said that a denial of the claim by Democratic Party spokesman Aleksandar Radosavljevic ha only confirmed the assertion that Arneric was not in the parliament on July 22.
“Many other MPs were absent during the vote in the parliament while, according to the parliament register, they had attended and made up a quorum,” said Milivojevic.
