Udovicki calls for investigation of claims
21:31 BELGRADE, Sept 4 (Beta) - National Bank governor Kori Udovicki said today that she expects the Serbian Parliament to investigate claims by G17 Plus that there was no quorum present when she was appointed to her position.
“I expect the Serbia Parliament to check the veracity of these claims and apply appropriate measures within its institutional mechanisms,” said Udovicki, adding that it was regrettable that the National Bank, as a non-political institution, was being dragged into political conflicts. The bank would continue to defend the stability of the dinar despite the latest attempts to
politicize its role, said Udovicki.
