Democratic Party candidate tipped as health minister
17:48 BELGRADE, The chairman of the Democratic Party’s Health Committee, Djordje Bajec, is a likely candidate for the vacant post of Serbia’s health minister, Beta reports.
The present minister, Tomica Milosavljevic, last month resigned the portfolio in protest at the sacking of G17 Plus deputy leader Mladjan Dinkic from the National Bank governorship. Bajec, who is director of surgery at the Belgrade Emergency Centre, issued a statement after Milosavljevic’s resignation, fiercely
criticizing his performance as health minister.
