Nicovic claims he refused to be 'donor' of G17 Plus
17:43 BELGRADE, August 28 (Tanjug) - Capital Bank owner Djordje Nicovic has said that it had been proposed to him on several occasions to donate 200,000 euros in cash to the G17 Plus party, and to have pressures against his bank stop in return.
"Late last year, on several occasions I received phone calls from anonymous people who claimed they had a lot of influence inside the National Bank of Serbia (NBS) and that they would stop pressure against the Capital Bank since they had influence on (then) governor Mladjan Dinkic," Nicovic said in a text published by Ekspres on Thursday.
