900 million dollars from privatization and investments - Vlahovic
18:17 BELGRADE, August 25 (Tanjug) - Income from social capital privatization, investments through privatization and direct foreign investments have so far amounted to about 590 million dollars, and are expected to go above 900 million dollars by the end of the year, Serbian Minister for Economy and privatization Aleksandar Vlahovic said on Monday.
Vlahovic told reporters that the privatization income of some 540 million dollars was obtained from the privatization of the tobacco industries in Nis and Vranje, and an additional amount of 50 million dollars is the result of the last year's privatization investments, while another 150 million dollars are expected from the privatization of Beopetrol by the end of the year, which amounts to a total of 750 million dollars.
