As of October 5 the life is somewhat better
Aug 18 (Blic) - The largest number of our citizens would speed up economic recovery of our country, while 16.8 per cent of them would give priority to increase of the living standard. For 13.5 per cent of our citizens decrease of unemployment is the problem they would deal with first. Only 6.7 per cent think that setting up of the country of law was the crucial priority. These are results of public opinion research that Belgrade center for marketing research Marten Board International carried out in the period May 27 to July 3, 2003. The research covered at random stratified sample of 567 adults, citizens of Serbia /without Kosovo and Metohija/.
Majority of our citizens /45.4 per cent/ think that the changes that occurred after October 5, 2000 are positive, while 30.7 per cent of them think they are negative. The largest number of them /39.3 per cent/ think that the life in Serbia is somewhat better after October 5. However, 25.1 per cent claim that in Serbia nothing has changed after October change of power.
