Montenegro still threatened by fires
16:02 DANILOVGRAD, August 14 (Beta) - Two major fires broke out this morning near Danilovgrad, one of them threatening residential areas. There have been a number of other minor outbreaks, while most of the earlier fires have been contained.
The commander of the Podgorica Fire Department, Vidak Djelevic, said today that most of the fires in the vicinity of the capital have now been extinguished, apart from one small front in Bratonozic. In the coastal resort of Herceg Novi, local fires are reported to be under control, with seventy fire officers and nine tankers stationed at critical spots.
