Uniworld to pay $1.1 million for Srbija-Turist, invest $9 million
BELGRADE, August 12 (Government) - Belgrade, Aug 12, 2003 - The commission in charge of selling Nis-based tourism firm Srbija-Turist accepted on Monday the sole bid in the tender, placed by US company Uniworld.
Uniworld offered $1.1 million for Srbija-Turist capital, $9 million for investment, and $150,000 towards a social programme. Negotiations with the bidder are to be handled by a negotiation commission, which will be appointed by Serbian Minister of Economy and
Privatization Aleksandar Vlahovic, reads a statement from the
Privatization Agency.
