A signal that it is worth investing in Serbia - Vlahovic
10:12 BELGRADE, August 8 (Tanjug) - Serbian Minister for Economy and Privatization Aleksandar Vlahovic has said that the arrival of the world's biggest names in the tobacco industry, Philip Morris and British American Tobacco, is a direct signal that it is worth investing in Serbia, that the environment is settled and that the investment risk is by far smaller than it was several years ago.
Vlahovic said in a live broadcast by Radio Television of Serbia on Thursday that the privatization of the tobacco industries in Nis and Vranje would have a big positive effect on the tobacco industry, the regions they are located in, the local self-administration and employment, in particular.
