Government will help farmers who suffered damages
12:22 SUBOTICA , Aug 6 (Tanjug) - The Serbian government will find extra funds to help farmers who have suffered damages resulting from the draught, but they must be patient, this is the essence of an agreement between Deputy Premier Jozef Kasa and ministers Bozidar Djelic, Stojan Jeftic and Slobodan Milosavljevic.
The officials met in Subotica late Tuesday, at Kasa's initiative, to discuss a blockade of regional roads and highways in the North Backa region organized by an alliance of farmers who are displeased with the government measures to alleviate the consequences of the draught.
