Postponed repayment of debt to IMF is not sign of debtor crisis
17:15 BELGRADE, Aug 6 (Tanjug) - The postponement of our country's repayment of a 26-million-dollar debt to the International Monetary Fund (IMF) does not signal the beginning of a debtor crisis, but is only a technical formality, the National Bank of Serbia (NBS) said on Wednesday.
The IMF has recently imposed shorter deadlines for the repayment of its loans, the NBS said and added that the IMF decision mentioned in the public referred to the return of the repayment deadline to the originally agreed one.
