No contracts without unique Customs taxes
August 05, 2003 (Blic) - Official of European Commission in Serbia and Montenegro, Ian William Blanker is of the opinion that nobody is going to sign trade contracts with Serbia and Montenegro without unique tariff and Customs rates.
Blankert's statement follows after claims by Serbian Prime Minister Zoran Zivkovic and his Montenegrin counterpart Milo Djukanovic that insisting by Brussles on harmonization of Customs taxes for 56 agricultural products was 'harmful for Serbia and Montenegro'. 'If you have one country, then you have one border and you must have the same tariff and Customs taxes', Blanker said.
