Protesters remove road blocks in northern Serbia
20:44 ZRENJANIN, Aug 4 (Tanjug) - The Belgrade - Zrenjanin road was reopened to traffic Monday afternoon, after protesting transporters reached agreement with the Ministry of Trade, the Serbian Directorate for Commodity Reserves and the Zrenjanin sugar industry on payment for their services.
Transporters blocked the road for four days, demanding payment of 11 million dinars due for carrying sugar beet to the Zrenjanin industry last year.
