Counterfeit bank cheque forms and credit cards
Belgrade, Aug 1, 2003 - The police have discovered an illegal printing shop in the territory of the northern Serbian province of Vojvodina. Seven persons have been arrested on suspicion of falsifying documents.
The police found complete printing equipment, as well as a large number of counterfeit bank cheque forms and credit cards of the Komercijalna Banka AD Beograd. Also found in the printing shop were eight tonnes of extracts for candy products worth several million dinars, as well as larger quantities of coffee, juice, and other food products meant for illegal trade. The police arrested seven suspects and took them in to the investigative judge on call. The statement issued by the police reads that further activities of this organised criminal group are being investigated.
