Prime Minister Zivkovic arrives in Salzburg
Salzburg, July 30, 2003 - Serbian Prime Minister Zoran Zivkovic arrived in Salzburg on Wednesday, where he is scheduled to attend a meeting of South East European prime ministers from July 30 to 31.
The meeting, focused on stability in South Eastern Europe in the 21st century, will be chaired by Austrian Chancellor Wolfgang Schuessel and Stability Pact for South Eastern Europe Special Coordinator Erhard Busek. Prime ministers from Bulgaria, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Montenegro, Romania and Croatia will also attend. The meeting will focus on the future of South Eastern Europe following the Thessaloniki Summit, as well as regional cooperation and assistance required for the process of stabilisation and association with the European Union. The prime ministers will also discuss transition issues, regional cooperation and the fight against organised crime and corruption. The meeting will end with a joint press conference on Thursday.
