Italy to continue financial support to Serbia's reforms
Belgrade, July 30, 2003 - Serbian Minister of Trade, Tourism, and Services Slobodan Milosavljevic and Italian Minister of Foreign Trade Adolfo Urso agreed on Wednesday on a series of projects aimed at supporting reforms in Serbia.
Milosavljevic said following the meeting that they also discussed cooperation between the two countries in the establishing an anti-monopoly agency in Serbia. He added that Italy is willing to provide training for the agency's staff as well as to form expert and consulting groups to help its functioning. Milosavljevic also said that the Italian government is ready to give financial support at the upcoming donors' conference to Serbia-Montenegro's projects related to transport, energy, tourism, local self-government, and public enterprises.
