Serbia, Macedonia sign Memorandum on cooperation
Ohrid, Belgrade, July 25, 2003 (Government) - Serbian Minister of Interior Dusan Mihajlovic and his Macedonian counterpart Hari Kostov signed in Ohrid on Friday a Memorandum on cooperation in the fight against terrorism, organised crime and illegal drugs trade.
Under the Memorandum, police of the two countries will also cooperate in suppressing illegal trade of psychotropic substances and precursors, illegal migration and other criminal offences. Before signing the agreement, ministers Mihajlovic and Kostov discussed current security issues and agreed that working bodies should be set up to regulate the field.
