Djelic says EU will not restore preferences for sugar import soon
19:11 BELGRADE , July 24 (Tanjug) - Serbian Finance Minister Bozidar Djelic said on Thursday that although it had not violated the law, our state had violated the spirit of EU preferences for the import of sugar, that the European Union would not restore these preferences soon and that those who had been involved in this chain should be held responsible.
Speaking at a news conference, Djelic said that the spirit of EU preferences which our country had had for just a few months had been violated and that "in addition to sugar, textile and some other goods are also in question."
