Chamber of Commerce not seeking to dump G17
19:28 BELGRADE, July 24 (B92) - The Serbian Chamber of Commerce has denied earlier reports claiming that it initiated proceedings to evict the G17 Institute from its office building.
Speaking to B92, Chamber of Commerce president Radoslav Veselinovc explained that the lease contract with the G17 Institute was indeed cancelled by the Yugoslav Chamber of Commerce, but only in order for it to be renewed with the Serbian Chamber of Commerce. Veselinovic said: "It is not true that we cancelled the lease with the G17 Institute. It is true that the information originated from some of our associates, but I don't think it was related to our lease-holders, rather something else altogether. Anyway, that information is not true".
