Djelic: Inflation will not increase, money issue will be controlled
17:25 BELGRADE , July 20 (Tanjug) - Serbian Minister of Finances and Economy Bozidar Djelic has said there will be no uncontrolled printing of money in Serbia or any increase in the inflation rate, and that neither pensioners nor any other persons who receive their salaries from the budget will be jeopardized.
"Citizens can rest easy: there is absolutely no risk in the area of public finances. In spite of the electricity price increase, the inflation rate will be lower than planned, and the budget will continue to be managed in the current unyielding manner," Djelic said in an interview published in the Belgrade daily Politika on Sunday.
