9.4 percent of Montenegro's population is poor - World Bank
10:17 PODGORICA , July 17 (Tanjug) - Experts of the World Bank and the Podgorica-based Institute for strategic studies and forecasts announced on Wednesday that 9.4 percent of Montenegro's population lives in absolute poverty.
World Bank representative Ruslan Yemtsov said that the poverty in Montenegro is not extreme, but warned that a large portion of the population is very close to a rather relative "quota" of poverty, set at 107 euro of income per person per month.
