Nobody wants to be governor
July 16 2003 (Blic) - Miroljub Labus, leader of G17 Plus said that the Government offered to Stojan Stamenkovic, associate of the institute of social sciences to be the Governor of the National Bank of Serbia, but he refused.
The same did NBS Vice Governors Radovan Jelasic and Vesna Arsic and associate of the Economic Institute Nebojsa Savic. Peoples Movement 'Otpor' claims that the problem between NBS and Serbian Government can be easily solved by election of Miroljub Labus to the position of the Governor.
