Serbian finance minister says there will be no new money issue
19:05 BELGRADE , July 16 (Tanjug) - Serbian Finance Minister Bozidar Djelic said on Wednesday that there should not be any concern that money would be printed and primary issue be given to any state enterprise after the adoption of a new bill on the National Bank of Serbia (NBS).
Opening a general debate on the bill on the NBS at the Serbian parliament, Djelic said that it would strengthen the central bank's independence, impose parliamentary control on its work and promote coordination between the NBS and the Serbian government.
