NBS deprives Kapital Banka of work permit
13:40 BELGRADE , July 15 (Tanjug) - The National Bank of Serbia (NBS), in keeping with its
jurisdictions, on Tuesday deprived the Belgrade Kapital Banka a.d. of its work permit, due to the bank's insolvency and illiquidity, so that the bank had not been able to allocate corresponding funds of obligatory reserves, the NBS stated, and added that a corresponding control had registered numerous abuses in the work of the bank.
By its control of the Kapital Banka work, the NBS determined that numerous illegal operations had been carried out, and, among other things, that "the stock capital part of financial resources has a negative value."
