Nicovic says NBS withdraws Kapital Banka's working permit without reason
20:40 BELGRADE, July 15 2003 - Kapital Banka Managing Board Chairman Djordjije Nicovic said on Tuesday that the National Bank of Serbia's (NBS) decision to withdraw the bank's working permit was completely unfounded and that "this document is a result of personal hostility between the NBS and the bank's management".
Commenting on the NBS decision, Nicovic told a special news conference that the management had already invited the Serbian Supreme Court to postpone the implementation of the decision and the Bank Rehabilitation Agency to send a neutral commission that would assess the situation at the bank.
