Wheat harvest in Apatin region
Apatin, July 12, 2003 (IIS, Dnevnik) - On 4.400 ha in Apatin region harvest is almost finished and according to farmers this was one of the worst seasons in last 10 years. In private sector average yield is 2.1 t/ha while societal sector have average crop of 4 t/ha.
With all agro-technical measures and a little bit of luck some fields had 7 t/ha – among highest crops in Serbia.
