Draft law on NBS made, says Serbian premier
18:57 BELGRADE , July 11 (Tanjug) - Serbian Premier Zoran Zivkovic said on Friday that the government had adopted a draft law on the National Bank of Serbia (NBS), which will be sent to parliament next week.
Under the draft, the NBS will remain independent in pursuing monetary policy and under the interim solution valid until the adoption of the Constitution, the governor will be nominated by the Serbian parliament's finance committee and elected by parliament.
