Investigation about 'Telecom affair' in Serbia, too
Belgrade, July 10 (Blic) - President of Council for fight against corruption Verica Barac confirmed that in Serbia, too investigation on 'Telecom Affair' would begin.
The Council agreed that competent bodies in Serbia should also determine the facts referring to sale of 49 per cent of capital of 'Telecom Serbia in June 1997 to 'Telecom Italia' and Greek company OTE.
Currently Italian Parliament, prosecution and media are intensively dealing with abuse relating to sale of 29 per cent of 'Telecom Serbia' capital to 'Telecom Italia' for 900 million German marks.
