Regular meetings between trade unions and PM in future
15:48 BELGRADE, July 9 (Tanjug) - Representatives of the Serbian independent trade union organizations, SSS, and Serbian Prime Minister Zoran Zivkovic will in future hold regular monthly meetings to overcome possible disagreements, it was agreed on Wednesday at a meeting of SSS representatives and Zivkovic, Minister of Labor and Employment Dragan Milovanovic and Deputy Premier Mile Isakov.
"Both the trade unions and the employers have responsibility in the process of social politics and that is why we agreed that there is no reason to quarrel through media. Trade unions have the right to go on strike, but we will in future discuss global issues at regular meetings and the option whether the budget will be oriented at social issues or growth," Zivkovic told reporters at the Serbian government.
